Italian boat builder Azimut is presenting the world premiere of the all-new Azimut 66 at the 2016 Dusseldorf Boat Show. The yacht has been fully revamped, from its stylistic content to its technology.

The 66 is part of Azimut’s Flybridge Collection, which is quietly being transformed with a steady stream of updates. The Azimut 80 was refreshed in 2013, the Azimut 50 in 2014, and the 72 was unveiled just a few months ago. Now it’s the Azimut 66’s turn in the limelight.

The exterior style and overall concept are the masterstroke of Stefano Righini. The interior comes from Carlo Galeazzi. Glancing at its exterior, you’ll notice the harmonious lines and ship-like design. Inside, the prow area will catch your attention, as it gives way to an exclusive lounge with tasteful decor. When updating this yacht, the designers paid special attention to making smart use of every square inch. As a result, there’s more storage and interior space than ever before. On the more technical side, the Azimut 66 is considerably lighter thanks to a carbon fibre superstructure.

Obviously, the vessel has been equipped with all of the new features introduced on the other models updated since 2013—and then some. These enhancements make the 20-metre vessel the brand’s flagship model and the jewel of the collection. Of all the boats in this line, the 66 is the one that has enjoyed the most updates.

We’re still waiting for the official unveiling to find out more about this incredible yacht. In fact, Azimut Yachts will have five models on display at the Dusseldorf show. In addition to the new 66, we’ll have the chance to view the Azimut 77, Azimut 50, Atlantis 43 and Magellano 43.
