In 2014 Princecraft will be expanding its DLX boat Series with the release of two new mid-sized boats as part of the Nanook line.

Expect great fishing aboard the new Nanook line of boats. In Inuit mythology, “Nanook” is the polar bear—the master of all bears—who determines whether anglers and hunters will capture their quarry. The bear is also admired for its strength and ingenuity—just like Princecraft boats!

The new Nanook models fill a void in Princecraft’s fishing boat catalogue. Measuring 16′ 6″ long and 87″ wide and equipped with a side console (SC) or a full windscreen (WS), they are the perfect size for big lakes. They have plenty of space for four fishermen—and all their gear—yet are compact enough for easy towing and launching. Like other Princecraft boats, Nanook boats are built with the famous 5052-H36 marine grade aluminum alloy. And the reverse chine hull design is doubled from bow to midship for enhanced durability.

The bow also features a large raised casting platform with plenty of space below for stowing batteries and fishing gear of all kind. The aft raised casting platform, which includes a large livewell (40’’; 129 L / 34 U.S. gal.) and a seat mount floor base, rounds out the fishing-friendly features. As always with Princecraft, you can customize your boat with a variety of optional equipment, including a top, radio, electric motor, or sonar.

The Nanook line is fitted for outboard motors (Mercury) ranging from 40 to 115 HP, which makes getting to your favorite fishing spots a snap. The No-Feedback steering system is coupled to the motors for easy handling, both at top speeds and while docking.

Princecraft’s new Nanook fishing boats are a perfect blend of performance and ingenuity worthy of the king of bears!
