Regal Marine Industries announced today that they will unveil the All-New Regal 35 Sport Coupe at the 106th Annual New York Boat Show. The Regal 35 Sport Coupe is the fourth in a series of hardtop sport cruisers. The Euro-styled Regal 52 Sport Coupe was introduced in 2008. The success of this model lead to the 2010 introduction of the Regal 46 Sport Coupe featuring a full-width retractable hardtop and walk-through windshield. These popular features defined the rest of the series. Resulting in Regal’s introduction of the highly popular 42 Sport Coupe earlier this year.
“The Regal 35 Sport Coupe is exceptionally well engineered to offer sport yacht features in a more compact package,” commented Duane Kuck, President and CEO. “With a single level cockpit that can be air conditioned or heated, it gives its owners the option to boat in a controlled environment or open up the hardtop and windshield to enjoy the breeze and sunshine.”
The interior also been designed to maximize space. Entering the cabin there is a full-size head with shower on the port side. The gourmet galley completes the port side with sofa seating on the starboard side that extends to wrap across the width of the forward third of the boat. The sofa converts to a starboard side berth and the forward seating converts into a center-line double berth with innerspring mattress at the touch of a button. The cabin is well lit with overhead windows, opening port lights and a large window on the starboard side.
There is also an aft cabin that is open to the mid-cabin making the entire cabin feel spacious and comfortable. A privacy curtain comes standard with a solid privacy door that is an option. The aft cabin can convert into a second entertainment center with an optional flat panel television.
“We really worked hard to make this boat feel big and airy as well have the exterior styling to family with the larger coupes in the series,” Pat Wiesner, VP of Engineering explained. “The entire Regal Team are quite excited with the results and can hardly wait to see the reaction of the boaters attending the New York Show.”
The Regal 35 Sport Coupe is powered by a range of twin Volvo or Mercury gas engines or twin Volvo D3 diesel engines. Both Volvo engine options are available with joy-stick control for easy docking.
