Bayliner Boats is proud to announce the North American debut of a boat designed to give pontoon boat buyers a more evolved option.

The Element XR7 is a crossover hybrid of sorts; combining all the space, comfort and capacity pontoon boat buyers are drawn to, but with a more evolved look and performance pedigree. Trading the traditional pontoon running surface in favor of Bayliner’s innovative M-Hull™, the boat brings greater seaworthiness, agility and overall performance to the party. The patent-pending M-Hull is the same hull design platform the company built its successful Element and Element XL sport boats upon over the past two years.

“Bayliner’s dealer partners are incredibly excited about this addition to our portfolio,” Sales Vice President Andrew Mahadevan stated.  “We are anticipating a surge of retail demand due to the unique features at an incredible price point, and have insured there is an XR7 in several key markets for customers to view and experience.”  Bayliner has stated the XR7 will debut at several major boat shows including: Houston, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Miami, and Detroit to name a few.

Priced comparably to most 22-foot triple-log pontoon boats with like power, the Element XR7 offers fans of pontoon boat comfort a much more performance-minded option. The design also allows for an enclosed head compartment and in-floor storage; amenities either not available or an expensive option on pontoon counterparts. Standard power is a Mercury 150 Four-Stroke outboard with a 200 HP Verado® as an option.

“We’ve created an exciting platform that offers space, comfort and capacity, without the limitations or compromises common to even the best pontoon boats,” said Michael Yobe, Bayliner’s Brand Manager. “Add to that the features and storage, the fact that it provides a superior tow sports wake, and we’ve got a real winner ready to hit the market,” he added.
