In the Caribbean, people are renting sailpowered and motorized catamarans more and more frequently. MarineMax Vacations has been renting models for years and has just added the 443 to its line of motor-powered catamarans. This new catamaran, unveiled at the last Miami Boat Show, features three cabins and is built by Sino Eagle Group. It slides into the line-up between the two-cabin MarineMax 382 and the four-cabin MarineMax 484. This latest addition rounds out the company’s offering of boats, as it is designed for a different number of passengers.
The MarineMax 443 Power catamaran can carry up to six passengers, and each cabin comes with its own full bathroom. At 21-feet wide, it is tremendously stable in all conditions, which will be greatly appreciated by the more faint of heart. The upper bridge offers unobstructed views of the water in addition to an extra for rest and relaxation. Finally, its diesel engine guarantees great performances and significant fuel economy.
